Make-Ahead Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, washed, dried and torn into bite-sized pieces
    1 head cauliflower, bite-sized pieces
    1/2 medium red onion, sliced into thin rings
    2 c. mayonnaise (Hellmann's works best)
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 to 1 lb. bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
Preparation
    Layer in large bowl:
    lettuce, cauliflower and red onion. Combine mayonnaise, sugar and Parmesan cheese and spread on top; sprinkle with bacon.
    Refrigerate at least 6 hours before serving in an airtight container.
    Toss before serving.
    Makes large portions; may cut ingredients in half.
