Jeanne'S Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 cans low-fat beef broth
    2 cans water (more if needed)
    salt and pepper to taste
    6 carrots, chopped
    2 large onions, chopped
    6 stalks celery, sliced in small pieces
    3 medium potatoes (small cubes)
    1 can stewed tomatoes
    head of cabbage, chopped or shredded
Preparation
    In a large soup pot, combine the broth, water, seasoning, carrots, onions, celery and potatoes. Bring to a boil and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until potatoes are barely cooked.
    Add the stewed tomatoes and cabbage and simmer until cabbage is cooked.
