Banana Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. mashed bananas
1 c. chopped pecans
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease loaf pan (9 x 5 x 3-inches).
Mix sugar, shortening and eggs. Beat until fluffy.
Add mashed bananas. Stir in sifted dry ingredients. Beat until smooth. Add nuts.
Bake 60 to 70 minutes. Wrap in foil when cool.
Keeps well in the refrigerator.
