Manhattan Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2-inch cube salt pork or 3 slices bacon
    1 large onion
    3 c. clam broth
    3 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. diced potatoes
    3 c. canned tomatoes
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 cans clams (or more if you'd like)
Preparation
    Saute pork or bacon slowly.
    Remove and reserve scraps.
    Add onions.
    Stir and cook slowly for 5 minutes.
    Stir in flour until blended.
    Stir in clam broth and add potatoes, tomatoes and green pepper.
    Cover and simmer until potatoes are done.
    Add pork (bacon) and clams and butter.
    Simmer 5 more minutes.
