Cherry Squares - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks butter (1/2 lb.)
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. flour
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 can Comstock pie filling (can use cherry, blueberry or apple)
Preparation

Cream the butter, sugar and eggs together.
Add flour and vanilla.
Grease jelly roll pan or cookie sheet.
Spread batter on cookie sheet.
Cut squares with knife (24 squares).
Dot each square with a heaping teaspoonful of pie filling.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
Cool.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
