Graham Cracker Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. granulated sugar
    3 eggs
    1 c. milk
    2 tsp. baking powder
    24 graham crackers, crumbled
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar together.
    Beat yolks of eggs until light and add.
    Add milk.
    Roll the crackers fine.
    Mix baking powder with the cracker crumbs.
    Add to other mixture together with salt and chopped nuts.
    Add beaten egg whites.
    Bake in 2 layers in moderately hot oven (375\u00b0) until done.
    When cool, spread whipped cream between layers and on top of cake.
