Coconut Nut Cake Topping - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. milk or cream
2 c. shredded coconut
1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
1/2 c. chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
Preparation

Combine all ingredients and mix well.
Divide mixture between 2 baked 8-inch round cake layers.
Spread evenly on top of each cake layer.
Place cake dish on tray shelf in center position.
(Use ovenproof glass or ceramic dish that will withstand the browning element heat.)
Do one layer at a time, positioning the cake correctly under the browning element.
