Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. quick cooking oats
1 1/4 c. boiling water
1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
4 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. pecans
1 c. coconut
1 c. brown sugar
Preparation

Boil water and pour over oats.
Allow to stand for 20 minutes. Cream butter, sugar and eggs.
Add oats alternately with dry ingredients.
Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
