Green Beans And Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. fresh green beans
    1 medium diced onion
    2 to 4 bacon strips, diced
    2 large new potatoes, quartered lengthwise or 8 small round new potatoes, halved (peeled or not)
Preparation
    Parboil green beans for 2 1/2 to 3 hours, until tender.
    Cook bacon crisp; remove from pan.
    Leave 2 to 3 tablespoons bacon drippings and cook onion until lightly browned.
    Put in with beans and add potatoes.
    Cook slowly 25 to 30 minutes or until potatoes are done.
    Should not have a lot of liquid.
