Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    1 c. white sugar
    4 eggs
    2/3 stick oleo
    dash of salt
    1 unbaked pie shell
    1 to 1 1/2 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    Melt oleo; add sugar and syrup.
    Heat until sugar is almost dissolved.
    Beat eggs until light.
    Mix eggs and sugar mixture real well.
    Add dash of salt.
    Put pecans in pie shell.
    Carefully pour syrup over pecans.
    Pecans will come to top.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 350\u00b0.
    Bake for 40 minutes more or until done.
