Bacon Swirls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
    1 (4 oz.) can chopped mushrooms
    1/4 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
    1 (8 oz.) can crescent rolls
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 egg white, slightly beaten
    2 Tbsp. poppy seed
Preparation
    Combine cooked bacon, mushrooms and mayonnaise.
    Stir well. Set aside.
    Separate crescent rolls into 4 rectangles.
    Press perforations together to seal at seams.
    Spread softened cream cheese over each rectangle leaving 1/4 inch margin on one long side and no margins on other sides.
    Spread 1/4 bacon mixture evenly over cream cheese.
    Roll dough up jelly roll fashion.
    Pinch seams to seal.
    Place in freezer to chill for easier cutting.
    Remove and cut into 1/2 inch slices.
    Brush each slice with egg white and sprinkle with poppy seed.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 9 minutes until lightly browned.
    Yield:
    36 appetizers.
