Golden Mandarin Bread - cooking recipe

1 pkg. yeast
1/4 c. warm water
3 Tbsp. melted butter
1 egg, beaten
3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. mandarin peel, chopped
2/3 c. mandarin juice
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Soften yeast in water.
Heat mandarin juice just to lukewarm. Add sugar, salt, mandarin peel and butter.
Add egg, half of flour and softened yeast.
Beat until well blended and thick.
Add remaining flour and mix to moderately stiff dough.
Turn out and knead lightly on floured board just until dough smoothes out and forms ball.
Cover with dampened cloth; let rest 20 minutes.
