Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. powdered sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. Wesson oil
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. shortening (1/2 butter and 1/2 margarine)
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    4 1/4 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix sugar, eggs, butter and oil together.
    Sift together salt, soda, cream of tartar and flour.
    Add to sugar mixture.
    Add vanilla.
    Cool in refrigerator.
    Roll in balls and flatten with a glass bottom moistened and dipped in sugar.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Do not overbake!
