Sweet Potato Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted self-rising flour
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. mashed cooked sweet potatoes
    3 Tbsp. milk
Preparation
    Blend flour and shortening.
    Add potatoes and blend.
    Add enough milk to make a soft dough and knead lightly, using as little flour as possible on bread board.
    Roll 1/2-inch thick and cut with cutter.
    Place biscuits on baking sheet and bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
    Serve hot with butter; also good with ham.
