Mother'S Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. sherry wine
    1 c. (packed good) cooked sweet potato
    1 tsp. allspice
    cinnamon and nutmeg to taste
    4 Tbsp. butter, melted
Preparation
    Beat eggs; add sugar, potato, sherry wine, spices and add melted butter last.
    Stir thoroughly.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 350\u00b0 until golden brown and filling is firm.
    Serve cold with Cool Whip or whipped cream seasoned with 1 tablespoon sherry.
