Hawaiian Style Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 frying chicken, cut up
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    1/2 c. dry white wine
    juice of 1 lime
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1 tsp. curry powder
    1 tsp. fresh or ground ginger
    1 tsp. each: thyme, oregano and pepper
    2 medium onions, sliced
    5 Tbsp. butter
    seasoned flour
    1 1/2 c. uncooked rice
    4 pineapple slices, halved
    1/2 c. toasted slivered almonds
    8 prunes, cut up
    1 pimiento, minced
Preparation
    Wash and dry chicken.
    Mix soy sauce, 1/4 cup wine and next 5 ingredients.
    Pour over chicken and marinate several hours, turning occasionally.
    Cook onions in 4 tablespoons of butter until golden. Remove onions; remove chicken from marinade.
    Dry and sprinkle with flour.
    Brown chicken in drippings.
    Add onions and marinate. Cover and cook 45 minutes, uncovering pan last 15 minutes.
    Cook and drain rice (keep hot).
    Brown pineapple slices in 1 tablespoon butter.
