Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar*
    1 egg, beaten
    2 c. warm water
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    8 c. flour (plain)
Preparation
    *You may want to add another 1/2 cup of sugar, depending on your taste.
