Cinnamon Breakfast Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. milk
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter, slivered
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    In a large mixing bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add sugar, 2 tablespoons melted butter and beaten egg; mix thoroughly.
    Gradually blend in milk.
    Pour batter into an 8-inch square pan.
    Sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon over top; also butter slivers.
    Bake in a hot (425\u00b0) oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
