Savory Southern Chicken Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. pork sausage (bulk type)
    1/3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 3/4 c. chicken broth
    2/3 c. milk
    1 recipe Savory Pastry
    4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 c. chicken, cooked and cubed
    10 oz. frozen peas, thawed
Preparation
    In saucepan, brown sausage; drain on paper towels.
    Pour off fat and in same pan, melt butter.
    Blend in flour, salt and pepper.
    Stir in chicken broth and milk.
    Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly; cook 1 minute more.
    Add chicken, sausage and peas; heat through.
    Pour into large casserole.
