Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. chopped apples, coarse
    2 c. white sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine apples and sugar; let stand a few minutes.
    Beat eggs lightly.
    Beat in oil and vanilla.
    Mix flour, salt, soda and cinnamon.
    Stir into egg mixture alternately with apple mixture. Stir in nuts.
    Pour into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for one hour or until cake tester shows it's done.
