Hamburger-Barley-Vegetable Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef, browned and drained
    1 medium to large onion, diced and sauteed
    1 (15 oz.) can diced tomatoes
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    2 large ribbed celery, in 1/2-inch slices
    4 medium carrots, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch wheels
    4 medium to large potatoes, peeled and diced into 1-inch pieces
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    4 c. beef broth or beef bouillon with water
    1 bay leaf
    1 c. dry barley
    pepper
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, except barley.
    Bring to a low boil, then reduce to simmer about 45 minutes.
    Bring to boil.
    Add barley.
    Reduce heat.
    Simmer about 30 minutes.
    Remove bay leaf before serving.
