Apple Pie Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

5 Tbsp. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. hot water
2 1/2 c. apples

Preparation

Cream together the first 4 ingredients.
Sift the next 5 ingredients together and add to the first mixture.
Add the hot water and apples last.
Bake in greased round pie plate at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
