Apple Cake Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. fresh apples, cut into small pieces
1 1/2 c. oil
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
pinch of salt
1 stick butter
1 c. pecans
3 eggs
3 c. self-rising flour
1 c. confectioners sugar
milk (small amount)

Preparation

Mix apples, oil, sugar, eggs, pecans, cinnamon, flour and salt. Pour into 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes. Spread 1 stick butter over hot cake. Mix confectioners sugar with milk so it is of spreading consistency. Spread over cooled cake.
