Marinated Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. small mushroom caps (fresh)
    4 Tbsp. soy sauce
    8 Tbsp. vinegar
    6 Tbsp. sherry
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. minced onions
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Put mushrooms in clean jar; mushrooms should almost fill jar. Combine rest of ingredients in saucepan.
    Bring to a boil.
    Pour over mushrooms to fill jar.
    Marinate 24 hours minimum.
    Serve cold.
    Preparation time:
    20 minutes. Makes 4 to 8 servings.
