Chocolate Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch ) baked pie shell
    1 c. sugar
    1/3 c. all-purpose flour or 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    2 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
    3 slightly beaten egg yolks
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In saucepan, combine sugar and flour or cornstarch and salt; gradually stir in milk and add chocolate squares.
    Cook and stir over medium heat until bubbly.
    Cook and stir 2 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir small amount of hot mixture into yolks and immediately return to hot mixture.
    Cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla.
    Pour into cooled 9-inch pastry shell.
    Top hot filling with meringue and bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Cool.
