Creamy Cubed Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 to 1 1/2 lb. cubed steak
1/4 tsp. cracked pepper
3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
1/2 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms
1/2 c. sour cream (lite; sour cream or half plain yogurt and half sour cream)
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. paprika
Preparation

Cut steak into 4 serving pieces if necessary.
Combine cracked pepper and flour.
Dredge meat in mixture.
Discard any excess flour.
Brown steaks in 1 tablespoon butter over medium-high heat for 4 to 5 minutes.
Turn steaks once.
Keep warm on serving platter.
Sprinkle with salt.
Add remaining butter to skillet. Add sliced
mushrooms.
Cook over medium-high heat, stirring, until golden.
Stir in sour cream, pepper, Worcestershire and paprika.
Heat, but do not boil or mixture may separate.
Spoon sauce over steaks and serve.
Sprinkle with more paprika if desired.
