Green Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. round steak, cut into thin strips
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 clove garlic
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 c. oil
1 c. green onions
1 1/4 c. red bell pepper, sliced
1 1/4 c. green bell pepper, sliced
2 stalks celery, sliced
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water
2 tomatoes, cut in wedges
Preparation

Combine soy sauce, garlic and ginger.
Dredge beef strips in mixture and set aside.
Heat the oil in a frying pan or wok. Brown the beef strips until tender.
Toss in the vegetables, cooking until tender, about 10 minutes.
Mix cornstarch with the water and add to beef and vegetable mixture.
Cook until thickened.
Garnish with tomato wedges.
