Lynn Gray'S Chile Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1/2 c. Heinz hot ketchup *
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. salt
    16 oz. can red kidney beans with liquid, mashed
    1 (17 oz.) bottle Territorial House medium green chile salsa **
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/4 c. green onion, chopped
    1/4 c. black olives
    sour cream, if desired
    Tostitos white corn tortilla chips
Preparation
    Brown the ground beef and onion in a skillet.
    Drain the fat. Add the ketchup, chili powder, salt, mashed kidney beans and liquid and salsa.
    Simmer about 5 minutes.
    Spread in a 9 x 13-inch pan, top with cheese and bake until melted in a 350\u00b0 oven, 10 to 20 minutes.
    Top with chopped green onions and sliced olives, if desired.
    Serve with tortilla chips.
