Baked Zucchini - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. slender zucchini
    1/3 lb. bacon
    3 medium onions
    salt and pepper
    basil
    catsup
Preparation
    Wash zucchini; do not peel.
    Slice fairly thin.
    Cut bacon into 1-inch pieces.
    Thinly slice onions and separate into rings. Cook bacon in skillet.
    Add onions.
    When bacon begins to sizzle, cook 5 minutes, stirring often.
    Into a greased casserole, put a layer of zucchini.
    Sprinkle with salt, pepper and basil.
    Dot with catsup; cover with onions and bacon.
    Repeat.
    Have a layer of onions and bacon on top.
    Dot with catsup.
    Cover casserole and bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Serves 6 to 8.
