Pecan Macaroons - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. cream or tartar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until foamy, then gradually add brown sugar.
    Add vanilla.
    Grease and flour cookie sheet.
    Drop from a teaspoon.
    Bake in a 275\u00b0 to 300\u00b0 oven for 5 minutes.
    Remove from pan and let cool on a rack.
