Ingredients

2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
6 egg yolks
3 or 4 c. milk
vanilla flavoring
1 c. coconut
1 stick margarine
Preparation

Mix sugar and cornstarch together.
Beat egg yolks separately. Stir this all together.
Add milk and vanilla flavoring.
Put all this on stove to cook.
Add a stick of margarine and cook until thick enough to put in pie shell.
When taken off stove, add coconut and stir.
Beat egg white separately until stiff.
Put in pie crust and then add meringue to put in stove to brown.
