Brunch Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 slices white bread, crusts removed and buttered
    1/2 lb. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 lb. cooked, crumbled sausage
    4 eggs
    3 c. milk
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In a buttered 2-quart casserole, layer 6 slices of bread, 1/2 of sausage and 1/2 of cheese.
    Repeat layer (buttered side of bread up).
    Blend milk, eggs, salt and pepper.
    Pour over layers; cover and refrigerate overnight.
    Bake 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
