Ingredients

1/4 c. instant potato granules
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/4 c. molasses
1 1/2 c. dried figs
1/2 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 1/2 c. quick oats
1 c. shortening
Preparation

Make potatoes as directed on package; sift dry ingredients. Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs, molasses and mashed potatoes. Mix together fruits, nuts and oats and add alternately with dry ingredients.
Mix well.
Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
