Mabo Dofu - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 blocks tofu (12 oz.)
    1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    1/2 c. green onions, chopped
    1 red pepper, minced
    1 Tbsp. oil
    2 Tbsp. ketchup
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 Tbsp. cooking wine
    1/2 c. soup stock
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch, dissolved in 1/2 c. water
    3 Tbsp. peas
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    1 Tbsp. ginger, chopped
Preparation
    Cut tofu into 1/2-inch cubes.
    Set aside and drain well.
    Heat oil in skillet.
    Add ginger, garlic, green onions and red pepper and stir over high heat.
    Brown beef.
    Add 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce and reduce to medium heat.
    Add ketchup, remainder of soy sauce, wine and soup stock.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add cornstarch liquid and stir until thickened.
    Add green peas.
