Special Yellow Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 egg yolks
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 3/4 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. lemon or vanilla

Preparation

Combine first 3 ingredients.
Sift flour and baking powder. Add alternately with milk and lemon or vanilla.
Beat egg whites and fold in batter.
Bake for 35 minutes at 375\u00b0.
Makes one 8 or 9-inch cake.
