Pan Broiled Pork Chops With Apple Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. apple juice
    1/2 c. catsup
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. each: cloves and ginger
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    1 green onion, chopped
    4 thin pork chops
    2 Tbsp. oil
Preparation
    In small saucepan, mix well juice, catsup, sugar, salt, cloves, ginger, garlic and green onion.
    Bring to boil; reduce heat, stirring occasionally.
    Simmer 20 minutes.
    Dip chops in sauce; place in shallow baking dish.
    Cover; refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight.
    If time permits, bring chops to room temperature before cooking.
    In large skillet, heat oil.
    Add chops; cook, turning once, 8 to 10 minutes or until tender and no longer pink inside.
    Serve with reheated leftover sauce.
    Makes 4 servings.
