Sausage Bean Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pound Jimmy Dean sausage (hot)
    2 16 oz. cans kidney beans
    2 16 oz. cans stewed tomatoes
    1 quart water
    1 large onion - chopped
    1 bay leaf
    1 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
    1 1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    2 cups potatoes - diced
    1/2 green bell pepper - chopped
Preparation
    Brown sausage in skillet.
    Pour off grease.
    In a large kettle combine all ingredients except potatoes and green peppers. Simmer covered for 1 hour or longer.
    Add potatoes and green peppers. Cook until potatoes are tender - 30 to 45 minutes.
