Navajo Fry Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 to 1 1/2 c. lukewarm water
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together into a large mixing bowl. Add 1 cup lukewarm water to flour mixture. Using hands, mix until dough is firm, but not hard. If dough becomes hard, more water may be added. Turn portion of dough out onto floured board and roll out to 1/4-inch thick, then cut into 3-inch squares. Fry in deep fat heated to 400\u00b0. Drain on absorbent paper.
