Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten separately, add whites last
2 large or small bananas, mashed
2 1/2 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk

Preparation

Cream Crisco and sugar, add egg yolks and beat well.
Add bananas.
Add flour sifted with salt and baking powder.
Add alternately with buttermilk.
Add soda last with a little of the buttermilk.
Add egg whites.
Bake at 350\u00b0.
