Martha'S Good Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    1 c. butter
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    1 large can evaporated milk
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Put in large bowl, chocolate chips and butter.
    Mix and heat to bubbly, sugar, milk, cream of tartar and
    salt.
    Mix all together and stir until smooth and then add vanilla and nuts. Place in refrigerator 2 hours.
