Gumdrop Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. chopped gumdrops (no black)
1 c. chopped walnuts
3 c. raisins
1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, unbeaten
1 c. thick applesauce
3 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground cloves

Preparation

Wash raisins and dry in warm oven. Cream shortening and sugar until fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add applesauce and stir to blend.
