Welsh Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. shortening
    3/4 c. currants
    3 eggs, beaten
    1/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift the first 4 ingredients.
    Add shortening (like pie crust); crumble, then add remaining ingredients.
    Roll 1/8-inch thick (mix sugar and flour to roll).
    Cut out and bake on griddle on low.
