Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. broken pretzels
3/4 c. melted butter (oleo)
3 Tbsp. sugar (granulated)
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 c. sugar (granulated)
8 oz. Cool Whip
2 (3 oz.) boxes strawberry jello
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
Preparation

Break up pretzels with rolling pin.
Mix with melted butter and 3 tablespoons sugar.
Bake in 9 x 13-inch cake pan for 8 minutes in 400\u00b0 oven.
Let cool completely.
Cream together cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and Cool Whip.
Spread onto cooled pretzel crust.
Pour 2 cups boiling water into jellos.
Stir, then add frozen berries, again, stirring.
Let set 15 minutes (outside refrigerator) before pouring over creamed mixture.
Now chill. (May be used as dessert, also.)
