Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. persimmons, peeled and mashed
1 egg
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. nuts
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add persimmons and egg.
Mix with mixer.
Mix dry ingredients, then add to persimmon mixture.
Fold in raisins and nuts.
