Peanut Butter Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10-inch) baked pie shell
    3/4 c. powdered sugar
    1/2 c. peanut butter
    2/3 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. flour
    pinch of salt
    3 egg yolks
    3 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mix powdered sugar and peanut butter until crumbly.
    Save 2 to 3 tablespoons of this for top of meringue.
    Place in bottom of baked pie shell.
    Mix sugar, cornstarch, flour and salt.
    Stir in egg yolks.
    Slowly add the milk.
    Over medium heat, bring to just below the boiling point.
    Cook for 2 minutes.
    (Mixture may bubble; don't boil hard.) Pour over peanut butter mixture in pie shell.
    Beat the egg whites and cream of tartar until foamy. Gradually beat in sugar.
    Beat until stiff.
    Place on top; sprinkle with reserved peanut butter mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes, until golden.
