Apple Dumplings With Vanilla Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 peeled and cored apples (your choice)
    cinnamon
    sugar
    prepared pie crust
    margarine
Preparation
    Peel and core the apples.
    Roll out small amount of pie dough to make 4 x 4-inch squares.
    Place apple in center of square.
    Add sugar and cinnamon to taste. Add 1 pat butter.
    If you use tart apples, shake a bit of salt on the apples.
    Fold corners into center and pinch together, making a bundle.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 in a shallow pan until apples are soft.
