Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 peck tomatoes, grind and drain overnight
    2 lb. peppers, cut up (red or green)
    2 apples, peeled and cut small
    5 lb. sugar
    5 lb. cabbage, chopped small
    2 lb. onions, chopped small
    1 qt. vinegar
    1 tsp. each: ginger, cloves and cinnamon
Preparation
    Cook 4 hours, slowly.
    Makes 12 pints.
    Can or keep in refrigerator.
