Steamed Fish(Jing Yue) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (2 to 2 1/2 lb.) fresh or salt water fish (suggested: fillet of rock cod, ling cod, halibut, black or striped bass)
2 stalks green onions
3 slices fresh ginger (the size of quarters)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. salad oil
1/4 c. light soy sauce

Shred green onions lengthwise and cut into 1-inch lengths.
Sliver ginger.
Clean fish; sprinkle with salt and place in a wide, shallow dish with a rim, about 1-inch high. Dish may be prepared ahead of time to this point.
