Willie'S Homemade Vegetable Beef Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground chuck
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. seasoned salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 large can whole potatoes, diced
    1 small can peas
    1 small can sliced carrots
    1 small can corn
    1 small can green beans
    1 can tomato soup
    1 1/2 cans water (more if needed)
    1 can whole tomatoes, crushed
Preparation
    In large stock pot, brown ground chuck and onion.
    Add tomato soup, tomatoes and water.
    Add potatoes, peas, carrots, corn and green beans to meat mixture.
    Season with basil, salt, seasoned salt, pepper and sugar.
    Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
    Simmer, covered, for 1/2 hour.
    If soup is too thin you can make a cornstarch thickening and add to soup for texture and thickness. (Two tablespoons cornstarch and 1/2 cup water.
    Mix and pour gradually into soup.)
