Chicken Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small hen or large chicken
    2/3 c. milk
    salt to taste
    1 can Pillsbury biscuits
    black pepper to taste
    oleo
Preparation
    Cook chicken until tender. Remove the meat from the bones. To broth,
    add milk. Bring to a boil and add the biscuits which have been rolled real thin and cut into bite-sized pieces. Then drop into boiling broth. When finished with dumplings, add chicken, black pepper and salt to taste. Be careful and do not let the dumplings burn while adding the rest of raw dumplings. Put lattice on top of pie and dot with oleo. Bake until brown.
